Platforms & Technology delivers state of the art platforms and provides an always on, always ready service for our customers. At Service Integration & Orchestration, the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) team is constantly challenging the serviceability of ABN AMRO. As a Process & project enabler for IT continuity, your main focus will be to make sure that all the teams have their preparation in place for when an IT wide calamity might hit. You will work alongside business teams, application teams and platform teams within IT to prepare for the worst.
Your job
IT continuity management is one of the key IT processes in which we manage the capability to recover our IT services from disasters. The process provides the structure to create, maintain, update and test various disaster and recovery scenarios.
- You are an advocate for Resilient IT landscapes and you challenge the organisation to become more resilient and secure every day.
- You support teams with setting up their Service Recovery Plans, review them and you are able to guide them when they are stuck or want to improve.
- You will integrate Service Recovery Plans to provide integrated runbooks for recovery of large chains of applications.
- You are able to think outside the box and anticipate on change.
- You will assess the current maturity of the ABN AMRO IT estate by leveraging IT Resiliency Frameworks and propose improvements.
- You will build out and improve the current IT continuity management process
- You will work together with business teams, application teams and platform teams.
- You adapt process and way of working based on new regulations and requirements
Working environment
Service Integration & Orchestration will be your new workplace, to be more specific the Continuous Service Improvement team. The CSI team consists of multiple streams (Lifecycle management, patch management among others), focussing on improving the, operational resilience, serviceability and security of ABN AMRO. CSI is an international team, with colleagues in the Netherlands and India. Due to this international nature of our team, we mainly speak and write in English.
Your profile
- Several years of relevant working experience in BCM or IT Risk related fields.
- You have set-up other processes from scratch and are able to create new policies.
- You are able to oversee the bigger picture and create overview and set focus.
- You are strong in Stakeholder Management and know your way around organisations.
- You are strong in analytics and are a critical thinker.
- You can present information organized to our regulators.
- You are pragmatic, solution-oriented and proactive.
- You are creative and able to think of out of the box.
